Lost Communication with Battery Charger A Control Module
The Battery Charger A Control Module has stopped transmitting on the vehicle data bus, so other control units no longer receive its messages. Onboard charging control is lost, so the traction battery may not charge. Typical causes are loss of power or ground at the module, an open or shorted CAN/LIN bus wire, a connector fault, or an internal module failure.
Possible causes
- Charger module unpowered high
- CAN wiring to charger broken medium
- Gateway module routing CAN messages incorrectly low
