Event Data Recorder Request Circuit/Open

The Event Data Recorder (EDR / black box) request line — used by the ECM or restraint module to trigger the EDR to capture pre-crash data — is open. The ECM cannot trigger an event capture, so any subsequent crash event would not be recorded reliably.
