Possible causes
- Driver module internal fault high
- Module software outdated, reflash may resolve low
- Supply voltage outside specification low
Symptoms
- Check engine light on
- Misfire or rough idle on the affected cylinder
- Increased fuel consumption
- Possible fuel smell or smoke from exhaust
Inspection / repair
- Difficulty: hard
- DIY: shop recommended
- Estimated cost: 400–2500 €
- Estimated time: 2–6 h
- Component: fuel injector control module
- MIL / check engine light
