Vehicle Speed Sensor "A" Malfunction

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) signal is missing or implausible. On automatic transmissions this often disables cruise control and shift adaptation; ABS-equipped cars typically derive speed from wheel speed sensors as a fallback.
